Ideal for a limited range of stock-keeping units (SKUs) in large numbers, double deep racking systems offer twice the pallet positions per aisle than single-entry racking configurations. Although similar in principle to a 100% selective pallet rack, double deep pallet rack systems have four rows instead of two rows per aisle. As a result, a first in, last out (FILO) pallet rack system is created by the double deep pallet rack system.
